Carlos Rodriguez Vidal

Dimensional metrology, manufacturing, and industrial quality control

Naval Technical Engineer, Graduate in Naval Machinery, Master’s in Maritime Engineering, and PhD from the University of A Coruña. He has worked as a Merchant Navy Engineer Officer and has experience in mechanical design, structural analysis, and naval engineering. He has participated in R projects, published books and technical articles, and developed teaching activities in propulsion plant maintenance and auxiliary ship machinery. He is currently a professor of Naval Engineering at the University of A Coruña.

    Cuenta con extensa experiencia como oficial de máquinas y jefe de máquinas en buques petroleros, quimiqueros, Ropax y remolcadores de altura. Varios años de experiencia en la conducción y mantenimiento de salas de máquinas (tanto con vapor como diesel), mantenimiento predictivo, preventivo y correctivo. Actualmente desempeña el cargo de Jefe de Máquinas en remolcadores de altura.
