Full identification, contact and registered address details are set out in the Legal Notice and Privacy Policy available on this website.
- Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of the online courses offered by Technical Courses.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant course page, training is delivered online and asynchronously and may include:
- access to the learning platform;
- training videos;
- technical documentation in PDF format;
- exercises and assessments;
- supplementary materials;
- tutor support during the period specified for each course;
- a certificate or diploma, where applicable and provided that the established requirements have been met.
The specific features, duration, price, syllabus, requirements and access period for each course are those stated on the corresponding sales page.
- Purchase process
The user selects the course they wish to take and proceeds to the payment process by clicking the Buy course button.
Before completing the purchase, the price and the information required to make payment will be displayed. The user must accept these Terms and Conditions when requested to do so.
The contract is considered concluded once payment has been successfully confirmed.
Technical Courses will send the purchaser confirmation of the purchase by electronic means. Electronic contracting regulations require the terms to be made available before purchase and acceptance to be confirmed afterwards.
- Prices and payment methods
The applicable prices are those published on each course page at the time of purchase.
Payment may be made using the methods enabled by Technical Courses at any given time, including Stripe and, where offered, bank transfer.
Stripe acts as a technology provider for payment services. The processing of data required to manage the payment will be carried out in accordance with applicable legislation and the relevant privacy policies.
- Course access
Once payment has been confirmed, Technical Courses will provide the student with access to the purchased course.
The period of access to the learning platform and tutor support will be the period expressly stated on the relevant course page, for example eight weeks, two months, or three months, as applicable.
Unless otherwise stated, the student may access the course content during that period and progress at their own pace.
Access is personal and non-transferable
- Immediate start of training
Technical Courses courses provide access to digital content and training services that may begin immediately after purchase, including videos, PDFs, exercises, and access to the learning platform.
Where the purchaser has the legal status of a consumer and the training begins during the statutory withdrawal period, the purchaser will be asked to provide express consent to the immediate commencement of supply and to acknowledge the consequences this may have for their right of withdrawal under applicable law. The applicable regulations require express consent and acknowledgement of the possible loss of the right of withdrawal where the supply of certain digital content begins before the 14-day period has expired.
- Right of withdrawal
Where legally applicable, consumers generally have a period of 14 calendar days in which to exercise their right of withdrawal from distance contracts.
However, this right may cease to apply where, in accordance with the applicable legal requirements, the supply of digital content or the relevant service has begun with the consumer’s express consent and acknowledgement of the loss of that right.
In all cases, Technical Courses will handle any requests to which the purchaser is legally entitled and will assess individually any issues relating to duplicate payments, billing errors, or inability to provide the service attributable to Technical Courses.
- Purchases made by companies and professionals
Purchases made by companies, professionals, or other entities for purposes related to their business or professional activity will be considered commercial transactions and will not be subject to consumer protection rules where such rules do not legally apply.
Where a company intends to obtain training subsidies through FUNDAE, it will be the company’s responsibility to comply with the requirements necessary to qualify for the subsidy.
Technical Courses may provide the necessary academic and administrative information and, where appropriate, put the company in contact with an organising entity.
The full or partial reimbursement of the cost through training subsidies is not guaranteed by Technical Courses.
- Cancellations, issues and refunds
Technical Courses may issue full or partial refunds when:
- a duplicate payment has been made;
- a billing error has occurred;
- Technical Courses is unable to provide the purchased course;
- there is another legally enforceable reason.
Any issues will be assessed individually, taking into account the circumstances of each case.
A student’s failure to make use of the course, or a decision not to continue the training once access has begun, will not automatically entitle the student to a refund, without prejudice to any rights legally granted to consumers.
- Intellectual property and use of materials
Course content is protected by intellectual property law.
Purchasing a course grants the student a personal right to use the materials exclusively for training purposes.
Not permitted:
- share access credentials;
- distribute PDFs or downloadable materials;
- copy, record, or redistribute videos;
- publish the content on the Internet;
- reproduce or commercially exploit all or part of the material;
- provide access to third parties who are not enrolled.
Downloading materials, where permitted, does not imply any transfer of intellectual property rights.
- Technical requirements
The student is responsible for having an Internet connection, an up-to-date browser, and the equipment or software required to complete the training.
Where a course requires specific software, an operating system, prior knowledge, or other specific requirements, these will be indicated on the relevant course page before purchase.
- Tutoring and course delivery
Tutor support will be provided during the period specified on the course page.
The tutor will address questions related to the course content and exercises, within reasonable use of the service.
Tutoring does not constitute a professional consultancy service regarding the student’s own projects unless expressly agreed otherwise.
- Certification
Where the course includes a diploma or certificate, obtaining it may be subject to completion of the exercises, quizzes, activities, or assessments established for each course.
- Data protection
Personal data provided during the purchase process will be processed in accordance with Technical Courses’ Privacy Policy.
Data may be processed by service providers required to manage the contracted service, such as payment platforms, hosting providers, email services, or the learning platform, in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Commercial communications will only be sent where there is an appropriate legal basis for doing so.
- Contact
For any query relating to a purchase, payment, access, or technical issue, the user may contact Technical Courses using the contact details published on the website.
- Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
Where the purchaser has the legal status of a consumer, all mandatory rights granted under applicable consumer protection legislation will in all cases be respected.
