Course taught ONLINE. The course content is 40 hours and the maximum time to complete it is 8 weeks. Students who pass the course will receive a diploma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course structure is as follows:

\u2022 Compulsory exercises in line with the skills learned in each chapter.
\u2022 Optional exercises to help students improve their level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All teaching materials (manuals, videos, and tutorials) will be available from day one so that each student can work at their own pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SALOME is free software for 3D CAD design, meshing, and post-processing of CFD or numerical simulations in general. It can be downloaded free of charge from www.salome-platform.org for both Windows and Linux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engineers, technical engineers, physics graduates, scientists, teachers, students, and anyone interested in using SALOME free software for 3D design, meshing, and post-processing of CFD simulation results and numerical simulations in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objectives:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The aim<\/strong> of this course is to acquire the knowledge and practical skills necessary to use SALOME-MECA. Students will learn how to create a 3D CAD design, generate finite element meshes for use in numerical simulations of solid mechanics and fluid mechanics problems, and also cover post-processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview of SALOME free software:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SALOME es un software libre que proporciona herramientas de modelado, pre-procesado y post-procesado para simulaciones CFD y num\u00e9ricas en general. Incluye aplicaciones para generar modelos de CAD 3D y mallas. Permite crear, modificar, importar\/exportar diversos formatos como IGES, STEP, BREP, etc. Tambi\u00e9n permite mallar modelos de CAD, editar mallados, comprobar calidades de malla e importar\/exportar mallas en diversos formatos. Como post-procesador, SALOME tambi\u00e9n presenta herramientas para visualizar resultados de CFD y simulaciones num\u00e9ricas en general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
