The course content is 40 hours, and the maximum time to complete it is 8 weeks. Students who pass the course will receive a diploma.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course structure is as follows:<br\/>\u2022 7 chapters of theory and solved exercises.<br\/>\u2022 Mandatory proposed exercises according to the skills learned in each chapter.<br\/>\u2022 Optional proposed exercises to increase the student&#8217;s proficiency.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All didactic material (manuals, videos, and tutorials) will be available from day one so that each student can work at their own pace.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SALOME is open-source software for 3D CAD design, meshing, and post-processing of CFD or general numerical simulations. Students will learn to create 3D CAD designs, generate finite element meshes for application in numerical simulations of solid mechanics and fluid mechanics problems, and post-processing will also be covered. <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>General overview of the open-source SALOME software:<\/strong><\/h3>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SALOME is open-source software that provides modeling, pre-processing, and post-processing tools for CFD and general numerical simulations. It includes applications for generating 3D CAD models and meshes. It allows creating, modifying, importing\/exporting various formats such as IGES, STEP, BREP, etc. It also allows meshing CAD models, editing meshes, checking mesh quality, and importing\/exporting meshes in various formats.
